William G. Cappola

Cappola, William G. “Bill” of Whitman, died January 9, 2014.

Bill proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict in the US Army and was the recipient of the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing and spending time with his family.

Beloved husband of Dorothy (Hobart) Cappola of Whitman. Loving father of William Cappola of Whitman, Diane Wallace of Halifax, James Hickey and his partner Michael Hopper of Brighton.  Cherished “Papa” of Olivia, David, Ryan and Taylor. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at  8:30 AM prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint John the Baptist, 44 School Street, Quincy at 10:00 AM. The burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
