William F. Sybertz

 

William F. Sybertz,  a longtime Quincy resident originally from Dorchester, died February 11, 2017, he was 88 years old. The beloved husband of the late Ellen (Sullivan) Sybertz. Father of  Rosaleen MacAuley and her fiance John Berg of Wilmington. Brother of Leo Sybertz of West Roxbury, Sister in law of Joyce Sybertz of Walpole. Jerome F. Sybertz and his wife Debra  of West Roxbury and the late Gerald and Claire A. Sybertz. Grandfather of Daniel MacAuley of Dorchester.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Bill was a detailed perfectionist in his trade of carpentry and a proud member of Local #33. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.  He loved to fish in his free time.  He will be remembered as a kind and caring gentleman who was always willing to lend a hand. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday from  9-10am in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM.

Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of William may be made to the Maryknoll Fathers, 55 Ryder Road, Ossining, NY 10562.
