MacFarlane, William F. of Quincy, May 23, 2004. The Beloved Son of the late Angus & May C. (MacLeod) MacFarlane. Brother of Robert MacFarlane of Quincy, Joseph MacFarlane of Barnstable and Mary Power of Dedham and the late John and Charles MacFarlane. William is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Friday at 9am. Funeral Mass in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 227 Sea St. Quincy , Friday at 10am. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. A private burial will take place in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. William worked for Data Control in East Boston for 14 years as a electronic technician. He then took a job at State Street Bank in Boston, where he stayed for 15 years retiring back in 1997. William was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Korean conflict. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of William may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Baystate Drive P.O. Box 9060 Braintree, MA 02184. Korean War Navy veteran.
