William F. Houlihan

Houlihan, William F. of Quincy, May 21, 2004. The Beloved husband of Hiroko (Uchida) Houlihan. Father of William P. Houlihan and his wife Arlene of Quincy and John Houlihan of the South Shore. Stepfather of Frank Moro and his wife Jean of Saugus and Guido Moro and his wife Maureen of Wakefield. Brother of the late George Houlihan , Helen Fantasia and Rita Garland. William is also survived by 5 grandchildren. For most of his working life, William worked 2 jobs. He worked for the City of Boston for 32 years in different jobs which included , health officer, he was a inspector for the City of Boston Housing Authority and more recently a registered state sanitarian. He reitred from the City of Boston in 1982. While working for the city he also worked for the South Postal Annex in Boston for 14 years, Mr. Houlihan retired from the Post Office in 1972. Mr. Houlihan was a WWII Disabled Army Veteran, serving in Europe, Africa , and the Middle East. He received 4 Army medals. He is a member of the D.A.V as well as V.F.W. Posts.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Mary’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 and 7- 9 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mr. Houlihan may be made to Old Colony Hospice, 14 Page Terrace Stoughton, MA 02072.
