William F. Digregorio

DiGregorio, William F. of Weymouth, passed away February 15, 2013 at the South Shore Hospital after a 3 month battle with cancer at the age of 62.

Bill was born and raised in Wappingers Falls, NY. He graduated from the CW Post Campus of Long Island University in 1972. He then settled in Braintree and has lived in Weymouth for the last 22 years. Mr. DiGregorio retired in 2007 from the Cambridge District Court as an Assistant Chief Probation Officer. He truly enjoyed his retirement: working on the home he loved, golfing, and fishing. He shared a special camaraderie with his brothers at the Weymouth Son’s of Italy.

He leaves behind his beloved Marie (Burke), his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and John Troy and his 5 month old granddaughter Avery, all of Pembroke. He is also survived by Bernie and Millie Burke and his two nieces, Brenna Westinghouse and Brittany Burke. Bill was the son of the late Mildren and Felix DiGregorio of Wappingers Falls, NY.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.) Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at Thursday at 8:45 AM prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM.
