Benoit, William F. of Hingham November 28, 2006. Beloved husband of Mary C. (Stack) Benoit. Loving father of William F. Benoit, II of Pembroke, Noreen Deady of Weymouth and Dennis Benoit of Norwell. Brother of Leonard of Chelsea, Marie Kashmanian of Medford, Dorothy Stanley of Burlington & the late Leo. Devoted “Grandpa” of Kelly, Crystal, Courtney, Shannon, Max, Keely & Erin. Also survived by 3 grand dogs. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:30 PM. Mr. Benoit served in the United States Navy from 1947 until 1967 retiring as Chief Petty Officer and traveled the world. He was the owner of Windsor Painting in Hingham. He enjoyed gardening, going on cruises and spending time with his grandchildren. Previously, he had lived in Cambridge, Dorchester and Newport, RI.
