Fitzgibbon, William D. “Don” of Middleboro, formerly of So. Weymouth died March 15, 2008. Beloved husband of Linda M. (Searle) Fitzgibbon of Middleboro. Devoted father of Deborah A. Collins of Plymouth, Edward M. Fitzgibbon, II of Stoughton, and William D. Fitzgibbon, Jr. of Norton. Loving brother of Edward D. Fitzgibbon of Alaska and Paul D. Fitzgibbon of Scituate. Cherished grandfather of 3 grandchildren. Don was in the USMC and served during the Korean Conflict. Don was the owner/ operator of American Mobile Wash servicing the South Shore area for over 20 years. He was an avid reader and gardener and enjoyed boxing. Don loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a quiet, humble man with a wonderful sense of humor. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the O’Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street, Middleboro, Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours at O’Neill Funeral Home on Tuesday 4 – 8 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
