Loving father of Patricia Melchin of Quincy, Susan Melchin of Weymouth William G. Melchin of Middleboro and Christopher M. Melchin, QFD of Weymouth. Brother of Edward Melchin of Spring Lake, FL. Grandfather of Eric and Kevin Slattery and Mark and Matthew Melchin. Mr. Melchin was a member of the James J. Rice Post, Amvets, in Dorchester and the Old Dorchester Post A.L. in Dorchester. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 6-9 PM and Thursday 6-9 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Donations in memory of Mr Melchin may be made to MSPCA , 350 S.
