William “Bill” Wildes

Wildes, William J. “Bill” Jr. of Quincy, died on March 11, 2010 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of 53 years to Anna (Oakes) Wildes of Quincy. Devoted father of Susan Wildes of Quincy, William Wildes and his wife Patti of Woburn, Claire and her husband Jim Merrigan of Braintree, Paul Wildes of Quincy, Nancy and her husband Pat Barry of Walpole, Tommy Wildes of Randolph, Steven Wildes and his wife Karyn of Marshfield and Peter Wildes and his wife Kathy of Abington. Loving brother of Ann Clifford of Quincy and Joan and her husband John Sousa of Woburn. Cherished Papa to Alyson, Michael, Maureen, Katelyn, Andrew, Kyle, Genevieve, Kristen, Madison and Jack. William was born in Boston and graduated from Boston Commerce High School. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Bill enjoyed traveling but his family was always his main passion. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Sunday 2 – 6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Monday,prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
