William A. Gallagher

Mr. William A. “Bill” Gallagher, of Rockland, died May 24, 2016.

Bill was a Boston Local 537 Pipefitter for over 55 years where he was also an instructor and the Training Coordinator.  He also served on the Bureau of Pipefitters and Refrigeration Technicians for the Commonwealth of Mass. Bill was a supporter of the Liverpool FC and Rockland Youth Soccer. He enjoyed spending time with his family and most especially his wonderful grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. 

Beloved husband of Jeanne A. (LaMontagne) Gallagher. Loving father of John D. Gallagher and his wife, Rima, of Suffolk, VA, and Daniel W. Gallagher and his wife, Christine, of Rockland. Brother of  Richard E. Gallagher and his wife, Donna, of Germantown, MD, Judith A. Griffin and her husband, Joseph, of Rockland, and Gerald F. Gallagher and his wife, Maureen, of Medfield. Proud Papa to  Danielle, Sara, Thomas, and Joseph. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 3-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service and burial will be private.
