William A. Camilleri

William A. “Wild Bill” Camilleri, of Weymouth, died September 20, 2016.

Bill proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He went on to serve his community as a Weymouth Police Officer for 39 years, retiring in 2002. Bill was a hardworking man, often holding multiple jobs to provide for his family, whom he was fiercely devoted to. In his spare time he could be found playing the guitar or writing poetry. He will be remembered for his loving nature and great sense of humor.  

Beloved husband of Karen (Meurch) Camilleri of Weymouth. Devoted father of Anthony Camilleri of Weymouth, Linnea Camilleri of Medway and Nicholas Camilleri of Stoughton. Loving brother of Richard and Joseph Camilleri. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Bill may be made to American Life League, P.O. Box 1350, Stafford, VA 22555.
