William A. Aucoin

William A. Aucoin  of Hull, a U.S. Army veteran, died October 27, 2015 at the age of 79.

Bill worked as a welder and a truck driver and was member of the Teamsters Local 25. He was an avid Boston sports fan, especially the Patriots and Bruins. The center of Bill’s life was his family. He will be remembered as an amazing husband, father and grandfather.

Beloved husband of 55 years to Phyliss J. (Scott) Aucoin. Loving father of William M. “Bill” Aucoin of Hull, John J. “Jack” Aucoin and wife Ruth and Marybeth Grieco and husband Bill, all of Braintree. Survived by close friends Robin and Tom Murphy. Cherished “Papa” of Ryan, Amanda, Brianna, Abbey, Madison and Rebecca. Brother in law of Carol Scott, Lorraine Scott and Shirley Burke and husband Jake. Bill was the last surviving sibling of his 12 brothers and sisters and was the uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:45 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery. Donations in memory of Bill may be made to New England Center for Homeless Veterans, 17 Court St., Boston MA 02108.
