Wilhelm Patrick Lydon of Weymouth, originally from Dorchester, died January 29, 2021 at the age of 62.
Pat will be remembered for his quick wit and great sense of humor. For many years, he worked as a long haul truck driver. He enjoyed dancing, cooking and was an avid Nascar fan.
Son of the late John and Inge Lydon. He was the loving father of Adam J. Regan and his wife Taryn of Duxbury; Kelli Miller and her husband Jeffrey of Braintree; and Jessica Bahrakis and her husband John of Mashpee. Longtime loving companion of Donna Ford. Former husband of Frances Lydon. Brother of John Lydon of Sabattus, ME, Mark Lydon of Weymouth, Terry Lydon of Weymouth, Timmy Lydon of West Roxbury, and Tommy Lydon of Montana. Devoted “Pappy” of Jeffrey, Joseph, Cody, Maximus, Demetrius, Valerie, Savannah, Travis, Mia, and one more on the way.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Jerome Church, 632 Bridge Street, Weymouth on Thursday at 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pat may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Road, #200, Framingham, MA 01701A.
Normally, the funeral is an opportunity for the community to gather in support of one another. Although we cannot gather together with Wilhelm’s family at this time, friends may still offer their support by sharing a special memory or message by clicking the link above.
