Wayne Leroy Lockard

Wayne Leroy Lockard, 77 of South Weymouth, Massachusetts, peacefully passed away at home on May 22, 2023. Born in Akron, Colorado to Mary Ilene Axtel and Harley Lockard.  Wayne led a life that touched the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him.

Wayne graduated from Akron High School and went on to the Army National Guard as a vehicle mechanic, moving up the ranks to Sergeant E5. Following his military service, Wayne established a successful auto sales business in Colorado following which he moved to Massachusetts to manage his TV rental business. Wayne also worked in construction, then on to automobile sales from which he retired in 2019. During his tenure at a large Ford dealership, he made numerous friends.

In 1985 he met his future wife Nancy Arena of Hull Massachusetts, marrying her in 1990. They had many adventures during their 38 years together, scuba diving and skiing as often as possible amongst other shenanigans. 

Wayne leaves behind his two sons, Alan Blosser and Brian Blosser. He was also a proud grandfather of five: Danielle Delapaz, Donnie Blosser, Mikhail Blosser, Alex Blosser, Tyler Blosser, and five great grandchildren: Gavin Blosser, June Blosser, Kyrie Blosser, Khloe Blosser, Khalia Delapaz.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Wayne will be deeply missed.
