Wayne E. Mirick

Mirick, Wayne E. of Weymouth, died October 2, 2017.

Retired Supervisor of Attendance for 35 years for Quincy Public Schools. Wayne was a wonderful and devoted family man, especially to the care of his wife Maryrose throughout her illness. He was heartbroken when she passed away last year. His personality was large and his ability to make people laugh will be fondly remembered by all who were fortunate to know him. Wayne’s selflessness continued even in death as he chose to be an organ donor with hopes of bettering the lives of others.

Beloved husband of the late Maryrose (Sullivan) Mirick. Devoted father of Andrea Rose Mirick and Jacquelyn Patricia (Mirick) Neary and her wife Kathryn, all of Weymouth. Cherished Papa of Juliahna Pruitt. Loving brother of Laurence Mirick of Braintree and Kenneth Mirick of VA. Predeceased by his parents Laurence and Virginia Mirick, his brother Glenn Mirick and cousin/honorary sister Marian Ciccariella. Also survived by large extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the memorial visitation on Saturday from 11 AM -1 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
