Warren J. Demers

Demers, Warren J. of Quincy, passed away October 17, 2011. Beloved husband of Margaret “Peggy” Demers of Quincy. Loving father of Pamela J. Demers of Braintree, Robert “Bob” Demers of Quincy, Julie C. Demers of Braintree and Laurie M. Demers of Quincy. Son in Law of Fred Grenier of Hyde Park. Loving longtime friend of Milagro Forte of Quincy. Grandfather to be of Jezzelle Evelyn Demers. Warren is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Warren was born in Brockton, raised in Hyde Park before settling in Quincy for the past 29 years. He was a graduate of Hyde Park High School and attended Northeastern University. He was the Membership Chairman for the American Legion before retiring in 2004. After retiring Warren worked at CVS for several years. He was a WWII Navy Veteran and a proud member of the American Legion Post #95 in Quincy. Warren was an avid Boston sports fan and loved spending time with his family. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne Friday at 1:30 PM.
