Warren H. Rainey

Warren H. Rainey of Charleston, SC formally of Weymouth, MA entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 27.

Mr. Rainey was born in Boston, MA April 11, 1930 to the late Gordon and Henrietta Rainey.  He served in both the Navy and Air Force, and retired in 1999 from a long career in the printing industry.  He was an avid sportsman and loved sailing, playing tennis and softball.  Warren was a caring, loving and devoted father and husband.  

Beloved husband of Mary (MacMinn) Rainey of Charleston, SC.  Loving father of Sharon Rainey of Stoughton, MA, Joyce Rainey of Sagamore Beach, MA and the late Janet Rainey. Father-in-law of Daniel Bjelf and Elizabeth Skidmore.  Caring stepfather of Tyler Barnes of Charleston, SC, Robert Barnes of Braintree, MA, and Robin Barnes of South Lake Tahoe, CA.  Devoted grandfather of Adam and Bryanna Bjelf of Sagamore Beach, MA and Brewer and Lucas Barnes of Hingham, MA.  Brother of the late Lucille Cormack.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 11:30 in McDonald Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
