Wanda H. Picarski

Picarski, Wanda H. (Dedecz)  a longtime Quincy resident, died on May 9, 2014, surrounded by her loving family, she was 92. 

The beloved wife of 72 years to Stanley Picarski. Cherished mother of  Barbara Murphy of Westwood, Stanley Picarski, Jr. and his wife Kathy, Paul Picarski and his wife Karen and Margaret Dunn and her husband Bill all of Quincy and the late John and Stephen Picarski. Mother in law of Fay Picarski of Quincy. Wanda is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.  She is predeceased by her 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Wanda is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Wanda enjoyed shelling in Marco Island and cooking traditional Polish dishes for her family, especially rice pudding. The foundation of her life was truly her family, her beloved husband Stan and the wonderful family they created together. Although they are saddened by her loss they are grateful for all the blessings she brought into their lives. She will live on in all their hearts forever.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the  Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1015 Sea Street, Quincy on Saturday, May 17  at 10 AM. Burial at a later date.
