Walter W. Mcginnis

Walter W McGinnis, 93 of Hingham, MA (formerly of Everett), passed away Saturday May 21, 2016 after a brief illness. 

He grew up in South Boston with his brother Ted (Edward McGinnis), the children of Helen (Willis) and Walter Mcginnis. He received 3 Bronze Stars for his service in the Army Air Force during WWII.

Beloved husband of the late Edith (Bailey) McGinnis and loving father of their son, Keith McGinnis.

Walter worked at the A&P as a Meat Cutter for 40 years, and later McKinnons Market. 

Walter is survived by his son, & daughter-in-law, Maureen Butler of Hingham, and his grandchildren, Colin and Lindsey McGinnis. Uncle of Linda Sasser, Susan and Rick McGinnis, and brother in law of Helen McGinnis all of Billerica.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM on July 20, 2016 at Bourne National Cemetery.
