King, Walter T., Jr. of South Boston, formerly of Quincy & Dorchester, June 19, 2007. Son of the late Walter T. King, Sr. and Elizabeth (Senior) King. Former husband of Anne (Conroy) King of Quincy. Loving father of Joshua, Joseph and Jonathan King, all of Quincy. Brother of Margaret Havey of Orange and Carol M. King of South Boston. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Walter lived in South Boston for the last 4 years. He previously lived in Quincy and grew up in Dorchester. He was a graduate of English High School in Boston. For 41 years he worked for Boston Medical Center. His current position was purchasing manager. He also worked as a bartender for many years at the Town Field Tavern in Dorchester. Walter was a former member of the South Boston Knights of Columbus and past president of Affiliated Federated State Municipal Employess Union. He enjoyed watching and playing golf, taking trips to Maine and was an avid Red Sox fan. Most of all Walter enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
