Jensen, Walter M. of Columbus, OH, formerly of Quincy, FL & Westwood, January 10, 2003. Beloved husband of Marguerite (McGarry) Jensen. Loving father of Patricia Cunningham of Millis, Christopher Jensen of Belmont, Mark Jensen of Columbus, OH & the late John F. Jensen. Brother of George Jensen of CA. Also lovingly survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Tuesday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 7-9 PM. Burial in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.Mr. & Mrs. Jensen have been married for 58 years. He worked as an aerial photographer while serving in the U.S. Navy for 26 years, retiring in 1962. During his military career, he served in WWII and Korea and received many medals including the purple heart. While living in Florida for 15 years, he served as a sheriff for the Pine Ellis County Sheriff’s Department. He belonged to many veteran organizations including the Disabled American Veterens, AmVets and the American Legion. In his off time, Mr. Jensen enjoyed fishing.
