Walter J. “Wally” Wisniewski

Wisniewski, Walter J. of Quincy, died peacefully at home on December 16, 2016.  

The beloved husband of Danuta Wisniewski of Quincy, loving father of Elizabeth Klocek and her husband Paul of Marlborough, brother of the late John and Stanley Wisniewski, grandfather of Paulina Jondro of FL and Robert Klocek of Easton, uncle of Mary, John, and Stanley Wisniewski, and great-uncle of Stanley Mark Wisniewski, III. 

Walter was a long-time employee of Boston Gear Works in Quincy, but enjoyed fishing on his boat in Quincy Bay on weekends, and riding his motorcycle around Houghs Neck. Proud of his Polish heritage, he was also active in the Polish community. Walter will be remembered as a true gentleman with a great sense of humor. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a wake in his honor at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy, on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday at 9:15am at the funeral home prior to the Funeral Mass, which will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 227 Sea Street in Quincy at 10am.

Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery in Quincy.
