Walter H. “Sparky” Trask

Trask, Walter H. “Sparky” of Quincy, formerly of Hyde Park, died January 7, 2013. Beloved son of the late Walter and Anne (Keegan). Loving brother of Dianne D. Langille of Alton Bay, NH. Uncle of Lindsay Langille of Stoneham, Michael D. Langille and his wife, Michelle, of Concord, NH. Great Uncle of Katie and Ellie Langille and Mikey Russo. Born in Boston, he had lived in Hyde Park for many years before moving to Quincy. Sparky was a former member of the Knights of Columbus and was awarded Knight of the Year from 1970-1971 for the Readville Council, # 2980. He was also active at Most Precious Blood Parish in Hyde Park as well as Sacred Heart Church in North Quincy as an usher. Sparky had worked as a Laborer for the MDC until his retirement and was also a friend of Bill W. At the request of the family, PLEASE OMIT FLOWERS Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday, January 16th, from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial will be private.
