Skrickus, Walter F. of Hingham, died January 30, 2014, he was 94. 

Beloved husband of the late Mary T. (Mooney) Skrickus. Brother of the late Constance, Bronie and Edward Skrickus. Walter was an avid sailor and yachting historian. He enjoyed the beauty of sailing in Hingham Bay and around the islands of Boston Harbor. He was part owner of the Lawley Boat Yard in Boston and was well known in Hingham for his boat models of small dinghies and half models of larger cruising sailboats. Walter equally enjoyed the craft of wood working in building the models and giving them away to friends. He will be missed by all those who knew him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday morning February 1 from 8:30 – 9:30 in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM, followed by a Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10 AM in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
