Strungis, Walter E. of Quincy formerly of Dorchester, June 02,2010. Beloved husband of Phyllis (Podbielski) Strungis of Quincy. Loving father of Gerard P. Strungis of Quincy, Jeffrey L. Strungis and his wife Karen of FL, Philip A. Strungis and his wife Connie of FL, Christopher W.Strungis of NY and his wife Valeria of Brazil, Justine Tumas and her husband John of DE , Elaine C. Strungis of Quincy and Andrea K. Henkels and her husband Tim of W. Boylston. Cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Walter was a WWII Army Veteran. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Monday 4 – 8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 :15AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10:00 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery,Bourne.
