Neville, Walter D. of Foxborough, formerly of Quincy, passed away suddenly January 5, 2013. Beloved husband of the late Marguerite “Peg” B. (Joyce). Loving father of Peter Neville of Stoughton, Joyce Murray and her husband, Marc, of Mansfield, and Elaine Rathgeb and her husband, Joe, of Foxboro. Brother of the late Bernadette Ross. Proud Papa to Matthew, Alex, and Nicolas Neville, Samantha, Alison, and Caroline Rathgeb, Zachary, and Olivia, Murray. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Until his retirement, Walter worked for many years at the Hynes Convention Center as an electrician. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, tending to his garden, and also enjoyed his many trips to Cape Cod. He will be sorely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him, especially his grandchildren where Walter was always found being at one of their sporting events. Walter was also a World War II veteran serving in the United States Navy. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday from 4 – 8 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial willl follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Memorial donations may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA 02115.
