Walter C. Vitt, Jr.

Walter C. Vitt, Jr. of Weymouth, formerly of Dorchester, died September 21, 2013 at the age of 53.

Walter worked as an HVACR mechanic for Boston Scientific. He was a member of the Braintree Moose Lodge 413. A music lover, he played the drums for many years. He was also an avid NASCAR and New England Patriots fan.

Beloved husband of Linda (Martin) Vitt. Father of Tom Vitt and wife Kelly of Halifax, Patrick Vitt and wife Donnamarie of Weymouth, and Steven Vitt of Brighton. Son of Jean Vitt of Dorchester and the late Walter C. Vitt, Sr. Son in law of Agnes Smith of Rockland. Stepfather of Erin Martin of Rockland and Liz Martin of Easton. Brother of Linda of FL, Susan Otis of Weymouth, Leo Vitt of Lynn, and Nancy Newell of Milton. Step grandfather of Devon and Madison. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Cremation will follow.
