Wallace E. Loewer

Wallace E. “Wally” Loewer of North Weymouth, died August 25, 2021.  

Wally lived in Santa Maria, California for several years before moving to Weymouth 22 years ago. He worked as a civil engineer for the Army Corp of Engineers for over 30 years. As an avid bridge player, Wally enjoyed countless competitions and games with friends and neighbors. While his job granted him world travel, including Saudi Arabia, he looking forward to annual trip to Antigua with his wife. At home Wally could be found in the backyard watching birds, enjoying the flowers, debating politics with friends and sharing his life story with anyone around. 

Beloved husband of Ruth “Sandy” Amos of North Weymouth. Loving brother of Ronald Loewer of Germany. Also survived by a nephew, many nieces and his cat George.

Services will be private. Wally will be laid to rest in Santa Maria, California at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Wally may be made to Norwell VNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA 02061.
