Virginia L. Rose

Rose, Virginia L. (Higgins) of Quincy July 26, 2005. Loving wife of Edwin R. Rose, Sr. of Quincy. Loving mother of Edwin R. Rose, Jr. and his wife Constance of Boca Raton, FL. Grandmother of Cory A. Washburn of FL. Daughter of the late Forrest D. Higgins and Ruth O. (Murphy). She was a lifelong resident of Quincy. Mrs. Rose graduated from Quincy High School in 1940. She was a volunteer kindergarden teacher at St. Ann’s School in Wollaston for many years and was a daily communicant at St. Ann’s Church. Virginia passed on to rejoice in the presence of Almighty God for eternity. We give thanks to Almighty God for the many blessings received through the gift of her life. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Friday at 8AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 9AM. Visitation will be prior to Mass. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in memory of Mrs. Rose may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701.
