Virginia “Jini” Marie Seaver of Quincy, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, June 12, 2021. She was 94.
Born in Boston to the late Francis McInnis and Mary Lawton McInnis; Jini was raised in Dorchester before moving to Quincy where she began her most important job of raising her family. She continued her career as owner of Cee Cee’S Sandwich Shop in Fields Corner for over 25 years. Her steak bombs were as memorable as her impact on the community. Jini was always one to lend a helping hand. Her kindness and compassion are evidenced in all the everlasting relationships she built with her family, friends and neighbors.
Jini’s greatest pleasure was spending time with her loved ones. A true lover of life and fun times, she enjoyed summering on Cape Cod, golfing, casino hopping, playing cards, attending Patriots games and sharing stories over a glass of wine. Jini will be deeply missed by everyone that was fortunate enough to know and love her.
Jini was the beloved wife of the late Warren “Tinky” F. Seaver, Sr. Devoted mother to her daughter Regina Seaver Keaveney and her husband Tom of Canton and son Warren Seaver, Jr. of Quincy. Cherished grandmother to Paul Seaver and his wife Jenn, Shannon Keaveney, Brendan Keaveney, A.J. Keaveney, Nicole St. Pierre, Noelle St. Pierre and Terrence Pinson. Adored great grandmother of Joseph, Nolan, Sammy, Jack and a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Loving sister of Martina “Marty” Andersen and sister-in-law to Rose McInnis. She is also preceded in death by her daughter Janet St. Pierre, granddaughter Samantha Pinson, and her siblings Katherine “Kay” Campbell and James McInnis. Lastly, Jini leaves her faithful and loyal canine companion, Rudy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the wake on Friday, June 18, from 10:30-11:30 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Following the wake, the funeral Mass will be held in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 12 PM. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Virginia may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
