Virginia “Ginny” Lucier

Lucier, Virginia “Ginny” M. of Rockland formerly of Quincy passed away May 8, 2011. Beloved wife of 63 years to John D. Lucier of Rockland. Loving mother of John D. Lucier Jr. and his wife Lori of Quincy, Marie McPhee and her husband Ken of South Weymouth and Patty Riley of South Boston. Sister of John DiAntonio of Quincy and Robert DiAntonio of MO and the late Alfred DiAntonio, Lucy Cronin, Ann DiAntonio, Frances DiAntonio. Sister in law to Joan DiAntonio. Virginia was also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Cherished grandmother of Rachel and Dominique Lucier of Quincy. Virginia lived most of her life in Quincy before moving to Rockland. She worked at Stop & Shop in Quincy in the finance department for 12 years before retiring in 1988. She enjoyed cooking, golf, shopping, flowers, gardening and going to the beach. Virginia was an avid Boston sports fan .Most of all Virginia’s passion in life was her family. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at Thursday at 9:30 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Agatha’s Church, Milton, at 10:30 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
