Morrison, Virginia C. “Ginny” (Scully) of Hingham, died peacefully on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at the age of 83.Virginia was born in Dorchester and lived in Braintree and Milton in her youth.She attended Sacred Heart School in Weymouth and graduated from Milton High School. The beloved wife of the late Herbert J. Morrison, she raised her family in Hingham, MA, which was a town she returned to after living in Sarasota, FL, Centerville and Mashpee, MA. Virginia was able to travel extensively, followed the Red Sox and especially enjoyed golf with friends and family. Virginia is survived by fours sons, their wives and a sister Herbert & Mary Morrison of Hingham, Stephen & Rita Morrison of Marston Mills,Paul & Susan Morrison of Hanover and James Morrison of Hingham. Sister of Marie Wyatt of Milton and the late George Scully, Anne Byrne, Katherine Balduc and Margaret O’Leary. Virginia was blessed with 7 grandchildren whom she cherished, H.Joseph, Elizabeth, Kevin, Stephen, Jeffrey, Laura and Matthew. She will be missed by family and friends, which mean so much to her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Sunday 2-6pm in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. Hingham. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, August 10 at 9:15AM prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, 147 North St. Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
