Prasinos, Virginia A. (MacLean), 82 of Quincy, died on February 20, 2013.

Born in Dorchester, educated at Rosary Academy and Boston University, Virginia lived many years in Quincy. She worked first for New England Telephone, was proprietor of Cedar Lake Inn in N. Falmouth and later founded Century 21 Abigail Adams Agency.  Virginia embraced the entrepreneur spirit and engaged in real estate investing. She enjoyed traveling, little dogs, antiques and Mickey Mouse. Virginia was a member of the Boston University Alumni.

Loving mother of Jayne M. Magown and husband Bob of Norwell, Peter T. Prasinos of Hull, and Judi E. Prasinos of Quincy. Adored grandmother of Kristine, Kenton, Alec, and Leah. Sister of the late Robert A. MacLean of Fairfax, VA. Daughter of the late Robert A. MacLean and Sarah (Barry) MacLean of New Brunswick, Canada.  Virginia will be missed by many who enjoyed her zest for life and wonderful spirit.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4 – 8pm, February 26 in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Quincy.  Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the American Lung Association.
