Campitelli, Vincenzo R. “Jimmy” of Quincy, May 26, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn (Twiss) Michaud Campitelli. Devoted father of William P. Michaud and his wife Lynn of Weymouth and Patricia E. Michaud of Quincy. Brother of Gilda Pelletier of Quincy and Ida Sylvester of Braintree. Loving grandfather of Peter Michaud and his wife Carol of Whitman, Michael Michaud and his wife Lisa of Holbrook and Richard “Rick” King of Quincy. Great grandfather of Emily and Peter Michaud Jr. of Whitman and Carly Michaud of Holbrook. Vincenzo was born and raised in Quincy. He lived in Quincy and Hingham for many years of his life. Vincenzo worked as an engine mechanic for the City of Quincy for 35 years before reitring in 1979. Jimmy enjoyed ballroom dancing with his late wife Evelyn. He was a member of the VFW Post in Quincy. Jimmy was a Proud WWII U.S. Army Veteran where he worked as an air craft welder. Jimmy was man who was always there to help his friends out if they needed him. Jimmy loved spending time with his family and will be missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Saturday at 8:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
