Victor J. Pietkiewicz

Pietkiewicz, Victor J. of Dorchester, born December 25, 1927 and died June 21, 2021.

Victor adored his family and loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, recitals, and plays. He loved to travel all over the world with his wife Florence and would go to Aruba every year for over 25 years. They owned a home on Lake Wyman and they enjoyed this lakeside getaway in Westminster. He was a devout Catholic attending St. Stanislaus Church in Chelsea and later when he married Florence attended Our Lady of Częstochowa in South Boston. He participated in many church related activities for the archdiocese and local church, and his faith was very important to him. Victor enjoyed reading WWII history books and was a proud United States Navy veteran fire controlman. He was an officer in the PAV and one of the first initiating members and ran the beano on Friday nights for over 25 years. Victor was also one of the first to be trained at Fort Devens and then transferred to UMass Amherst and was always a big supporter of the university after he graduated. He was the head of Eversource’s cable division and was employed there for 40 years before retiring. Victor was a jolly and happy man who was generous, caring, and humble. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
