Nosiglia, Victor A. of Hingham. After losing his ability to walk, Victor lost his will to live. He passed quietly with children at his side on October 10th.
Victor was a salesman, after many attempts at various businesses he eventually started a company importing German meat packing machinery. He traveled for his work and enjoyment. Although Victor and his wife (Bernice) traveled the United States visiting family they often ventured to the Caribbean, Italy, much of Europe and as far away as South America, Hawaii, and Tahiti. Victor helped open the first Montessori School in Hingham. After his wife’s passing, he joined the Rotary Club quietly helping people without hesitation until his Parkinson disease made this too difficult. He lived quietly, his greatest joy was to putter around the house and yard, sitting on the deck looking out at his land, feeding the squirrels, watching nature and children at play. He was a voracious reader especially enjoying political novels and maps.
Beloved husband of the late Bernice L. (Giglio) Nosiglia. Loving father of the late Victor A. Nosiglia, III, Gregg Nosiglia of Nantucket, Roni Roberts and her husband Andy of Nantucket, Dave Nosiglia and his significant other Pattie Doyle of Hingham. Brother of Barbara Patton of TX, Richard and wife Beverly Nosiglia of NY, and the late Nancy McLellan. Grandfather of Victoria, Liara, Amelia, Eric, Kevin and Leanne. Great grandfather to Tatyana, Macy and Jayla. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. We will miss the impish smile and the twinkle of his eye.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A gathering will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM Saturday prior to the Funeral Service at 11 AM in the House of Prayer Lutheran Church, Hingham. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
