Veronica S. White

White, Veronica S. (Gerroir), age 104, of Quincy, passed away November 8, 2011. Beloved wife of the late John C. White. Loving mother of Veronica Walsh and her husband Thomas of Quincy. “Grandma” to Thomas Walsh and his wife Maureen of Quincy and Sara O’Keefe and her husband Edward of Cohasset. Great grandmother of Thomas Walsh and Tedy O’Keefe. Veronica was born in Boston and raised in the Hough’s Neck section of Quincy from 1907 to 1921. She graduated from Quincy High School in 1925 as part of the first graduating class. At age 104, Veronica was the oldest living resident in Quincy. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
