Cannata, Veronica M. (Huntley) of Hull formerly of Mission Hill, April 15, 2007. Devoted Mother of John Cannata of Saugus, Carol Gillis of Hanson, Joseph Cannata and Lynda Boudreau both of Hull, William Cannata of Dorchester, James Cannata of Hingham and Geraldine “Geri” Venezia of Pembroke. Sister of Joan Manganello of Walpole, Thomas Lassiter of Weymouth and Sandra Childs of FL. Cherished Grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull on Friday at 10 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Veronica may be made to the American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or to a charity of your choice. Veronica grew up in Mission Hill and moved to Hull back in 1976. She worked as a secretary for S.E.I.U. local #509 – Commonwealth of Massachusetts out of Dorchester and Cambridge. Veronica raised her family consisting of 4 sons and 3 daughters. She was a devoted mother,who made her family her number one priority.She was a dedicated and loving person and a woman of great faith. Her family recalls what a great listener she was, she always had time for her family. Veronica loved the ocean, especailly York Beach in Maine. She also enjoyed music and singing, she especially enjoyed irish music and religious hymns. She was truly loved and admired by her family and will be sadly missed by everyone.
