Vera Stamper

Stamper, Vera (Wilkinson) of Hingham, formerly of England, January 31, 2008. Beloved wife of 62 years to Chet Stamper. Loving mother of Barry E. Stamper & wife Maureen of Duxbury, Barbara & husband Leo Connelly of Plymouth, Peter B. Stamper & wife Martha of Hanover, and Debbie & husband Pete Fagan of Richmond, VA. Sister of Roger Wilkinson of England. Also lovingly survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Vera was an incredible seamstress, cook and gardener. For many years, she spent summers in Duxbury. Recently, she and her husband spent time in Boca Raton, FL during the winter. She was a member of the English Club and enjoyed bowling. Most importantly, Vera devoted her life to her family. She will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 PM. Burial in Hingham Cemetery. Donations in Vera’s memory may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, 495 Old Connecticut Path, Framingham, MA 01701.
