Vangjel Stasa

Vangjel Stasa, age 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home in Milton on February 17, 2023. Vangjel was born and raised in Korca, Albania. He was a math teacher by profession, a role model and friend to many.

Beloved husband of Donika Stasa of Milton. Loving father of Daniela Mitre and her husband Niko of Vancouver, Canada and Gjergji Stasa and his wife Denisa of Milton. Brother of the late Jani Stasa, Vasil Stasa and Iliana Mosko. Loving grandfather of Xhoi, David, Megi, Lukas, and Jon. Also survived by his nephew Rudi and his niece Ada.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited by the family during the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A religious service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Burial in Milton Cemetery, Milton at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George Albanian Orthodox Cathedral, 523 East Broadway, South Boston, MA 02127.
