Ugo R. Paone

Paone, Ugo R. ‘Dick’ of Quincy, passed away May 23, 2011. Beloved husband of 68 years to the late Rita M. (Harold) Paone. Devoted father of Robert Paone of Boston, Richard Paone of Duxbury, and Barbara Paone of Randolph. Brother of the late Emma Hall, Anne White and Silvio Rossi. Cherished grandfather of Robert Hutcheon of Quincy, Samantha Hutcheon of Holbrook, and SFC, Timothy Paone of Germany, and great-grandfather of Cory and Anthony Davis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dick was born and raised in Quincy and was a 1939 graduate of Quincy High School, he had worked for many years as a sales representative. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, bird watching, but most especially loved being with his family. He found great enjoyment in the tradition of Sunday gatherings which has now been passed down to his children. Dick always had a great sense of humor, was very good natured, and he just loved life. He was a World War II veteran serving with the United States Army. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday 8:30am-9:30am in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy Memorial donations may be made to Saint Ann’s Church, 757 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02170
