Tomi Hysko

Tomi Hysko of Quincy, formerly of Albania, died August 29, 2022 at the age of 62.

Tomi was born in Skrapar, Albania on July 02,1960. He was the beloved son of Ateme and Alo Hysko and the beloved brother of Vladimir, Agim and Mimoza, all of Tirana, Albania. He studied at the Police Academy of Tirana, Albania and worked his way up the ranks as Chief of the Immigration Office for more than 30 years. He was loving, funny, smart, and a kind soul that everywhere he went his presence will be missed. He loved singing and his beautiful voice was present in every family event. Also, he loved writing poems and he knew how to rhyme them too.

He married the love of his life Violeta Kollovozi of Korca, Albania on 09/07/1986. From this marriage were born two wonderful boys, Ermal and Andy of Quincy, MA who he loved immensely. Ermal, the eldest boy, and his wonderful wife Rezarta gave him the most important name “GJYSHI”. He loved being Hera’s and Henry’s GJYSHI. He will be forever missed, but he left behind his wisdom, his laughs and beautiful voice that will be forever in our memories. We love you and we will always miss you Gjyshi TOMI.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be celebrated on Friday at 12 PM in the funeral home. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
