Todd Andrew Hamilton, 55, of Hingham, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on December 30th, 2023.
He was born in Hartford, CT, on October 14th, 1968, to Malcolm and Jeanette (Conlogue) Hamilton.
Todd grew up in Windsor Locks, CT, where he graduated from Windsor Locks High School in 1986. He studied business and finance at Bentley University, where he was also a member of the soccer team. He was awarded Scholar Athlete of the Year 1988-89 and Academic All Conference 1988-89 and 1989-90.
Todd had a very successful career at several finance and investment firms – starting at Fidelity Investments and quickly rising through the ranks to become a senior executive at several other firms including Natixis, New York Life, EG Shares, Grayscale Partners, and most recently Bonaventure Partners. He was known for his infectious enthusiasm as a financial professional whose persuasive charm and tireless dedication propelled him to years of success. Always an athlete, Todd was a marathon runner, feared point guard, skier, golfer, pickle ball trailblazer, and avid Boston sports fan.
Todd is survived by Julie Budd Hamilton and their children Benjamin, Lillie, and Luke. He was very involved in their childrens’ sports, dance, and activities, and was immensely proud of their accomplishments. Todd was a well known and respected member of the Hingham community where his contributions to Hingham and his family were as diverse as they were impactful. He was a fixture on the local youth lacrosse scene and dedicated countless hours to coaching and traveling to watch his kids games, competitions or dance recitals whenever possible. His unwavering support and belief in his children fostered a love that will carry on forever.
Beyond the field and being an amazing father, Todd was a great friend who connected people by organizing social gatherings and most recently creating a tremendous pickleball community across Boston’s South shore. Todd always showed genuine interest in everyone and their families and always put other people ahead of himself. Indeed he tried to make a positive impact in other’s lives whenever possible.
