Timothy “Tadgh” Sheehan
Sheehan, Timothy “Tadgh” of Quincy, died suddenly on March 31, 2014, he was 46.
The beloved son of Daniel Sheehan of Cork, Ireland and the late Helena (O’Keeffe) Sheehan. Dear brother of Siobhan and Michael Regan, of Ireland, Peter Sheehan and his wife Brenda of Foxboro, Claire and Helen Sheehan and her fiance,Denis all of Ireland. Fionnuala and John Roche, as well as Gene Fitzpatrick and the late Margaret Fitzpatrick. Cherished Uncle of Graham, Avril, Daniel, Emily, Owen, Peter, Helena, Ashlyn, Olivia, Domenic, Elliot, Rebecca and the late Emmett. He leaves behind great niece Sophie and great nephew Emmett. Tadgh is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Born in Cork Ireland, Tadgh came to the United States and began working as a painter but remained proud of his Irish heritage. His great passion in life was the ocean. As such his hobbies included fishing, swimming and boating, he even held a license for lobstering. Tadgh also loved to travel and had visited 44 of the states. Whether traveling or near the ocean, he loved socializing with friends and family, who will remember his great sense of humor and contagious laugh. Devoted to his nieces and nephews he will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM.
Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tadgh may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
