Murphy, Retired Braintree Police Special Operations of Braintree and Peachie Demakes of Swampscott. Loving grandfather of Pam Rawdon, Edward Deane, Leslie Quinn, Elias Demakes, Tim Demakes, Andrew Demakes and 5 great grandchildren. Brother of the late Jeremiah P. Murphy and Sr. Marillac Murphy, CSJ. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Mr. Murphy worked as a truck driver for Christie Transfer in Abington and was a member of Local # 653. He was proud of his work which helped build the Hingham Shipyard and Quabbin Reservoir.
