Thomas W. Holdsworth

Holdsworth, Thomas W. of Weymouth, formerly of North Andover, died October 26, 2015.

Tom proudly served in the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War. He worked as a purchasing agent in the medical field for many years including time with South Shore Hospital, Brockton Hospital and 20 years with Boston Textile Company. Tom enjoyed sports and was an avid golfer in his early years. He was his happiest when surrounded by family and friends, sitting back and taking it all in. He will be sadly missed. 

Beloved husband of Evelyn (Turmel) Holdsworth of Weymouth. Devoted father of Thomas Holdsworth and his wife Megan of NH, Michael Holdsworth of Methuen, Kathleen Hatch and her husband Scott of Haverhill and Brian Holdsworth of Weymouth. Father-in-law of Janine Holdsworth of Haverhill. Cherished Grampa of David, Casey, Michael, Victoria, Andrew, Allison, Jake, Annalise, great-grandson Shawn and soon to be born Jack. Loving brother of George Holdsworth of NH, James Holdsworth of ME and the late John (Jack) Holdsworth. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Funeral service will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday at 11 AM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Tom may be made to the National Vietnam Veterans Foundation Inc, 1015 N. Pelham Street, Alexandria, VA 22304.
