Dowling, Thomas W. of Hingham, passed away July 6, 2011. Former husband of Janice M. (O’Connor) Dowling. Loving father of Kevin M. Dowling of Plymouth, Matthew T. Meister of Plymouth, and Colleen M. Murdock and her husband, Sean, of Gloucester. Brother of Linda Ingham of Bridgewater, VA, Jane Roberto of Knoxville, TN, Judith Laird of Shenandoah, VA, Sandra Kelle of Gardiner, ME, Martha Cutler of Hingham, and the late Michael Dowling. Also survived by his 2 grandchildren., Dylan and Kirha Murdock, and many nieces and nephews. Thomas was born in Weymouth, and was raised in Hingham where he worked for twenty six years as a Heavy Equipment Operator until his retirement in 2010. In his spare time, he enjoyed boating, fishing, and was also a member of the Eagles in Weymouth. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. Cremation will follow.
