Thomas P. Quirk

Quirk, Thomas P. of Braintree, died surrounded by the family he cherished on November 3, 2017,  after a courageous battle, he was 59.

The beloved husband and the love of his life Lisa (Cinquegrano) Quirk of Braintree, Devoted father of Thomas P. Quirk, Jr. of Braintree, Brendan Quirk and his wife Tais of Nashua and Scott Therien and his wife Dieila of Blackstone. Son of the late John and Margaret (Sherman) Quirk. Loving brother of the Honorable Joseph M. Quirk of MD, William Quirk of Andover, Patricia Jewett of Mashpee, Daniel Quirk of Chestnut Hill, Margaret Shapiro of Bourne, Maureen Sullivan of Concord, Kathleen Padazis of Weymouth, Martha Quirk of Boston, Michael Quirk of Quincy, Sheila Bugler of Lowell and the late John Quirk. Grandpa of Dominic. Gianni and Yan Quirk and Blanda and Rachael, Andre and Isaac Therien. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Tom was born and raise in Lowell. Proud of his Lowell roots, he was raised in a large family, rich in tradition. The majority of his life was spent working for Quirk Auto Sales in Quincy, it was his passion in life. He loved his work. What was most important in Tom’s life was his family. He cherished them, they were the foundation of all that was truly important to him. Although they are broken hearted at his sudden passing, they feel fortunate for all the blessings he brought into their lives. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 2-9 in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
