Thomas M. Rico

Rico, Thomas M. Jr. of Middleboro, formerly of Quincy and Roslindale, passed away suddenly, August 5, 2011. Beloved husband of Mary (Folan) Rico of Middleboro. Loving father of Melissa and Matthew Rico both of Middleboro. Son of Jean Rico of Milton and the late Thomas M. Rico. Brother of Jack Rico of Foxboro, Lisa Peterson of Brockton and Elaine Moore of Milton. Tom is also lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews. Tom was born in Boston and grew up in Roslindale. He was a graduate of Hyde Park High School and attended Cape Cod Community College and U.Mass Boston. Tom worked as a account executive for Display Craft in CT for the past year but worked in the industry of over 30 years. Tom enjoyed swimming, fishing, dancing and working out with a group of friends at Planet Fitness in Plymouth. Tom took pride in supporting all of his favorite Boston sports teams. Tom was an avid reader and a huge history buff. Tom’s family will remember him as a man who loved to laugh and learn, he always had a smile on his face. Most of all Tom loved his family who were the cornerstone of his life. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM.
