Golden, Thomas M. of Quincy, June 9, 2009. The beloved husband of Margaret (Forte) Golden of Quincy. Father of Russell and his wife Milagro Forte of Quincy. Son of the late Richard & Theresa (Lynch) Golden. Brother of Rita and her husband Arthur Fuller of Manchester, CT. and the late Brian & Richard Golden. Cherished grandfather of Ryan, Edward, Shawn and Leah Forte. Tom is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Tom was a life long resident of Quincy, he served in the United States Army. He was the owner and president of the Ben Franklin Press in West Quincy for 40 years retiring back in 2001, he was a member of the graphic arts union. Tom enjoyed all types of sports and truly enjoyed playing pool. He was a man with a great sense of humor who was very proud of his Irish heritage. He enjoyed the simple things in life especially spending time with his family. Tom will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Friday. Visitation will begin at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Sea St. Quincy Friday at 11 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and deep appreciation to the staff at Quincy Medical Center -ICU and the staff of the 6th floor, for the outstanding care given to Tom during his hospitalization. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tom may be made to Education Fund for the Forte grandchildren c/o Citizens Bank, 1200 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02169.
